This song is called "Grandma's Song" and I first heard it 24 years ago. I have been trying to find a copy of it for years without any luck. I do not know who sings it though.

I've had this tune stuck in my head for decades-- and now I know what it is. Thank you!

I was watching a old vidio tape that I had recorded off of TV a few years ago, and when I heard this song on the tape, I decided to try and find the words on the computer. Low and behold,it is there. The vidio was of a singer by the name of Gail Davis as she sang it on Ralph Emory's old Nashville Now show.
