Alright, let me set this straight, there is no Barbie Girl song by Rammstein. The song you are thinking about is done by a DUTCH (READ: NOT GERMAN, RETARDS!)band, and is sung in Dutch. The only reason why some people think there is a version done by Rammstein is that some idoit put the Dutch version up on Kazaa, and didn't know anything about it, so they labeled it "Rammstein- Babrie Girl (German)" because most likely Rammstein is the only foreign band they know, and know nothing about foreign languages, so since Dutch sorta sounds like German, they listed it as being German.

Firstly: Ana, don't expect that just because it sounds foreign and has gutteral tones that it's German, or that it's by Rammstein just because you think it's in German.

And now I hope you're sitting down: Anita... what the f*ck do you care if people happen to like something in another language? Would it kill you to take a chance to take into consideration that MAYBE some people want to look into something they're interested in, and no one asked you? If you did your homework, English kind of derives from Anglo-Saxon German and French Latin anyway! No wonder America has gone to hell! It's ignorant, lazy, and closed-minded people like you who give the rest of us a bad name! The fact of the matter is, there are plenty of people here who don't speak English...AT ALL! That's the reason they have ESOL and Foreign Language classes, deary. Some people around here have brains larger than a dime, and, sorry to say it, some people who do actually try to broaden their horizons rather than judge others, so take whatever stick was shoved up your butt and do something usefull with it, like beat some sense into that thick skull of yours.

This is Anneliza, on behalf of all the members here looking for these lyrics, and anyone else who has ever had an interest in new things that lie beyond their front door.

Ok, I've looked through this thread, this looks a lot like Finnish.... If I saw the page where you got these lyrics from, I'd be able to tell you. Finnish and Norwegian are the language that come to mind at first glance. Anyone who's ever read anything into the languages of Europe can see it. I'm leaning more towards Finnish.... I have Les Misérables in Swedish (don't think it's that) and Finnish, and so I'd redirect your searches. German is definately out of the question. Not by Rammstein either, sorry.

Thank you Anneliza! Thank you thank you thank you! I read that post and thought, "wow, someone here doesn't realize that there are other people in the world other than themselves..." oi... and I totally agree with you about the closed-mindedness of people in America. I, being one of the American population, find it quite sickening. On the topic of the lyrics to this song... okay... I have the song too... got it from a friend. I must say it is quite ammusing. I'm currently taking German in school, and a diehard Rammstein fan and... well firstly... this is not Rammstein... and second... most certainly not German. Though certainly some words can be translated, being German is similar to other languages (including English), but it's really very few. I would LOVE to know the English translation of this song though, for that would be awesome. Well anyway, thanks to all of you trying to help out those trying to figure this out!

Barbie Girl - Rammstein
Hey spetter!
He?

Woepie?
Houd je kop, donder op
Laat me nou es alleen
Want ik mot nog mijn teennagels knippen

Je bent knap
't Is een gave
En ook slim
Ja ja
Zo charmant
Huh
Vooral als je lacht, owoh

Neem een ander in de maling
Ah ah ah yeah
Loop niet aan me kop te zeuren
Owohoh, owohoh
Jij moet niet zo ouwehoeren
Ah ah ah yeah
Alle vrouwen zijn hetzelfde
Owohoh, owohoh

Ome Henk, lekker dier

Zo charmant
He
Vooral als je lacht
Hehehe
Bijdehand
Ja
En zo stoer
Tuurlijk
Zo sportief, ik hou van jou

Bah, neem een ander in de maling
Ah ah ah yeah
Loop niet aan me kop te zeuren
Owohoh, owohoh
Jij moet niet zo ouwehoeren
Ah ah ah yeah
Alle vrouwen zijn hetzelfde
Owohoh, owohoh

Dus eh

Neem een ander in de maling
Ah ah ah yeah
Loop niet aan me kop te zeuren
Owohoh, owohoh
Jij moet niet zo ouwehoeren
Ah ah ah yeah
Alle vrouwen zijn hetzelfde
Owohoh, owohoh

Nou schat wat denk je ervan???
Weet je wat, geef me je nummer maar. Ken je
volgende week m'n plafond komen witten
Viespeuk!
Oh
